About Jonathan Sullivan

I am an Internet, mobile and IT pioneer who has been involved in the digital world for over 25 years as an executive, strategic partner, evangelist, presenter, and avid participant. I help organizations develop and implement digital strategies that are based on solid research and a clear vision, are focused on delivering measurable outcomes and are strongly aligned with overall business goals.
I have led the development, execution and management of e-commerce, online marketing, and digital branding initiatives across a range of industries including financial services, government, non-profit, fashion, education and "dot com" start-ups.
My portfolio includes work for Learning Tree International, Fannie Mae, President Obama, the Department of the Treasury, DARPA, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Georgetown University, Hair Cuttery, The JBG Companies, Loctite (now part of Henkel), McGraw-Hill, META Group (now part of Gartner), NIST, NVR, Playbill, PSINet, Sport & Health Clubs, STAR (now part of FirstData), SAIC, Stuart Weitzman, and Thompson Publishing Group.
In my spare time, I have served as a founder and leader in several non-profit organizations (including the Virginia Macintosh Users Group, the Dartmouth Club of Washington, D.C., and St. Peter's Episcopal Church), published a nationally distributed electronic newsletter, created Best Jokes and Other Humor From the Internet, Vol. 1, and taught courses in interactive multimedia at The George Washington University. I also have an active personal life with my wife and two children outside of Washington, D.C.
I have a B.A. in Government from Dartmouth College.
